November Critters

It's Saturday morning and let the critters run free!

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS
and
Let's discuss November, before it slips away too.

"November always seemed to me the Norway of the year."
Emily Dickinson

Bring out the marshmallows!
Or are you afraid that,

"Probably that you're going to be eaten
by a giant marshmallow or something?"
J. K. Rowling

I'm not worried about snow or freezing temperatures, yet.
Because, Minnesota has been promised
a few more lovely days in our future.

Yes, October has slipped away, November is brewing,
and a few critters are hanging around.

Advice from an owl,
Stay focused
(eyes open)
Be "Hoo" you are
Trust in a wise friend
Live off the land
Glide through the dark times,
Be observant
life's a hoot.

Ah sir, did you know there's a dragon on your roof?

and November has arrived
(how did that happen?
It seems like only yesterday it was September.)

Folks were dreaming up their Halloween costumes and decorations,
making ghosts and hanging festive lights.

now with Halloween extinguished
and turkeys everywhere
are looking over their feathered shoulders.

"The soul should always stand ajar,
ready to welcome the ecstatic experience."
Emily Dickinson

Oh Mom, it's time to put the Halloween stuff away!
Bark! Bark!

Have a safe and lovely weekend, and don't forget for those of us that celebrate daylight savings time, turn your clocks back one hour!
Don't be early for church! Enjoy an extra hour of sleep!

It went by WAY too fast. My goodness! We still have our "You've been booed" sign up, but I am proud to report I got the pumpkins off the doorstep. (Because they rot in Florida heat. And who wants the bugs hanging out around your door?)
