Letters

Isn't it great that we have 26 letters to play with?

"A picture's worth a thousand words. But a single word can make you think of over a thousand pictures in your mind, over a thousand moments, a thousand memories."
Rebecca McNutt

Carmi has offered
Letters
as our theme this week for

This post is part one of a two part series.

Part One

Letters

(photos I've already taken)

Always
"Be a  little kinder than you have to."
Do not except an evil you can change.
Always do what you're afraid to do.
She is sugar, curiosity and rain."
(Yep, I believe that's an exceptional way to be.)
E. Lockhart

"There is another alphabet, whispering from every leaf,
singing from every river,
shimmering from every sky."
Dejan Stojanovic

"Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird,
that cannot fly."
Langston Hughes

Words and letters
can inspire
they can make you high
or fry
as well as destroy.
Be ever so careful
choose well
what's heard
 or others might fly
or cry.

Thanks for stopping in to say hello.
Do you know how much your use of letters
here make my day?!

Hi Karen, Scrabble is one of my favorite games. I love all the quotes, the first one is a favorite. So true, kindness does matter. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

This post is an especially dear letter from a true friend. I love stealing quotes from you, Dear. Your first today reminds me of a dissenting comment I made to James Michner when I was around 5 and he spoke in our town! All the adults gasped. He said that a word is worth a thousand pictures. (TRUE!) but I piped up with the idea that sometimes you need to SEE it! LOL. Now to the treadmill. It's 7:o5a!

Nice use of all the letters- and love the quotes, as always. I hope your New Year has started with a bang and looking like a good one. Snow here has come and gone, and I can't say I will miss what little we got. LOL!
