On This Day

On this day June 12th I have much to be grateful for.
It's been a hectic week with family visiting,
work, dance

and a whole lot more.

Forever grateful for family visits!

"Be a little kinder than you have to."
E. Lockhart

On any day, grow things!

On this day in 2009 my first grand-daughter was born!

On this day we celebrated her first birthday!

"Do not regret growing older
as it is a privilege denied
to many."

On this day, we celebrated Lyra's 8th birthday.

Then on Saturday night the unexpected happened to our sweet Mason
and with his oxygen level way too low he spent the night in the hospital.

So ready to come home now!

(Yep, his favorite Panda had to come with him to the hospital.)

Thank goodness, and a whole lot of prayers later
he came home the next day
and hopefully all remains well.

Appreciate the not so normal in your life!
Like my mother always said, everything happens for a reason!

Feeling a bit topsy turvy?

On this day how I sum it all up-

You gotta look for the good in the bad,
the happy in your sad,
the gain in your pain,
and what makes you
grateful not hateful.

"You know the people that feed your soul
because you feel good after spending time with them."

Build people up
instead of building barriers.

On this day,
Pay it forward with compliments!
Offer smiles.

It's a proven fact just look at the photo below

What a difference a smile makes!

Give a smile catch a smile.

Are you thirsty?

Never forget it's really, really true
"When life gives you lemons,
make lemonade."

Thanks for stopping by
wishing you a wonderful week
and always, take good care of you!

Wonderful, uplifting, post. I'm not a great one for smart lines, but I loved your 'You gotta look for the good in the bad, the happy in your sad, the gain in your pain, and what makes you grateful not hateful.' Hope all is well with Mason.
