Critters and Amelia

Welcome to
SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

Jack's recent catch!

and some news of an 80 year old mystery
possibly solved?

As for more critters, not too far away
4H members are preparing
for the next Minnesota State Fair!

"Until one has loved an animal,
a part of one's soul remains unawakened."
Anatole France

That explains a lot, doesn't it?

Ride 'em cowboy!

Indian Hunter and His Dog

Now about that mystery.

Is Amelia's mystery solved?
Maybe.
This is not fake news.

First, before I explain more here's a link to Amelia's ties to Minnesota.

825 Fairmount Avenue St. Paul, Minnesota
document proving she lived there in 1915.

The History Channel will explain this Sunday,
with Amelia Earhart: The Lost Evidence.
(Although, my first question after seeing the new photo,
if she had been captured would she be lounging on a dock, appearing free to move about?)

Maybe, but I don't think so.  This just in, Amelia Earhart

The theory is Amelia may have been captured and died in Japanese captivity. You can read the New York Post article here.

Hello, Karen! Wow, that is a big catch for Jack! I love seeing the animals at the state fair here, I am sure the 4H members are proud of their critters. Love the beautiful horse and the sculpture of the Indian hunter and dog.
I guess I am a not believer as far as the new story on Amelia Earhart, would she really be sitting on a dock appearing to be free if she was held captive?
Are you off today, enjoy!
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Oh my! That is definitely a catch to be impressed by.. nice work Jack! The sculpture is beautiful Karen, lovely motion to it. I couldn't see any of the Amelia Earhart pics but it's an interesting story.

That is an impressive catch. Loved the sculptures too. Like Grace, none of the Amelia Earheart pictures would load. I saw the story yesterday, but have reservations. And doubt that it will ever be proved (or disproved).

If the photo is real, a sad way for her life to end

If Star Trek taught me anything it's that Amelia Earhart was abducted by aliens!
