Hello everyone hopefully you're all taking delight in the weekend at hand!

I have no idea where she hid my tuna! Meow! MEOW!

There's always a message in the way you revel over winter!

Sometimes I have to forgo my little car for the tougher-winter-ready vehicles here in the #BoldNorth

and it's the Bold North!

Most Minnesotans will watch the game from taverns, the comforts of their own houses
or maybe a few ice fishing houses!
The ticket prices are way too expensive!

Some of us will be out catching other photographers doing exactly what we ourselves are doing.  Shooting exciting frozen sculptures and other fun stuff.

If you remember I mentioned going to Alabama for another visit and here are a few highlights from that trip!

These are a few of my favorite moments.

Lyra is growing up way too quickly.
We were lucky this day, it was hoodie weather,
but still colder for Alabama usually is this time of year.

The main attraction for my trip was to see Lyra in her first play put on by the Fantasy Playhouse Children's Theater at her school drama club this year!
But my daughter also got us tickets for a another wonderful play
The Sound of Music

On Sunday evening after her final play
we enjoyed the Sound of Music at
the Von Braun Center Concert Hall in Huntsville.

BJ Thomas

My heart will be blessed with the sound of music.

Lyra's stash!

Did someone say Girl Scout Cookies?
Yep, early Saturday morning was pick-up all the troops cookies (a total of 4 vehicles) and after separating each girl's order
it was time to prepare for another showing of

"The Somewhat True Tale
of Robin Hood"

Meet her troop, my daughter is their leader.

Back to Sherwood Forest

Lyra on set.

"At the end of the day
I fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
If that makes me an outlaw, so be it.
I've been called worse."
Angela Parkhurst

The entire cast!

They all thoroughly enjoy working on this play most of them are signed up for another one already.

"Why not seize the pleasure at once?
How often is happiness destroyed by preparation, foolish preparation?
Jane Austin

"Because we always have a choice, even if it feels like we don't."
A. C. Gaughen

Thanks for stopping by
take good care of you!

I'm so glad that you got there for the play, Karen! I may watch a bit of the game tomorrow but am not really into football!

Me either Pat but the commercials are using the best, and since it's here in my hometown there will be highlights I'm sure not game related!

Hello, congrats to Lyra on her performance in the play. That is awesome for the whole family to see. Love the kitty and cute pup! Your family photos are beautiful. I think I would prefer the Alabama weather over the Minneapolis weather. The ice sculptures are awesome. I remember selling Girl Scouts cookies, many years ago. I am glad you were able to visit the family, wonderful post. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and weekend!
