Thematic Photographic - 415- Junk Food

Hooray, I'm excited to share a post for Thematic Photographic
I've missed it, and Carmi is bringing it back with
Junk Food
as our theme.

"Popcorn, chocolate, coffee, ice cream and pizza.
The five food groups.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid one day,
dying of nothing."
Kelly Moran

I'm usually about burgers first, but when time is short
and a quick bite is necessary,
Arby's
and their Roast Beef sandwich with lots
of horsey sauce is so very delicious!

Oh, my love, my darling
junk food
I've hungered for food that
tastes good, is high in calories
while having low nutritional value for
A long, lonely time.
Without packaged snacks
time goes by so slowly
and time can do so much
filling our time
by not needing time
or preparation
to deliver and devour our junk food.
I need your delicious bites
Are you still mine?
I need my junk food binges
please speed your delicious morsels to me!

Honestly Junk Food today
is all about serving up healthy stuff!

To really bring it home it's a play on healthy verbiage like
Smartfood Popcorn

Sea Salted
No artificial or preservatives, flavors or colors.

Simply Organic

Baked 50% Less Fat

Of course in honor of
SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

We first have Misty
the Queen of (well everything food related, and or paper too)
Junk Food
Junkie

She doesn't just enjoy the food/snack
if she can grab the empty bag or box
she'll nearly eat that too!
Where do you suppose she got her nickname
Misty Dixie Cup?

Oops, what was that running by the window?
A Squirrel!
Which she equally enjoys as well!

My son's dog Rusty, doesn't have a clue about
the deliciousness of junk food, because he isn't allowed
to even eat nutritional people food.

He does get dog treats and he'll perform tricks for them!

One more nice girl photos of Misty.

Of course, Misty acts like a lady waiting for her bite,
and she'll never take her eyes off you until you've finished eating.

While Junk Food of today has been working on being far more healthy,
it's even entered
the clothing market as well!

Yep, after all that snacking,
rub my tummy after all that yummy junk food
it's time for a quick little nap!

"Keep your friends close

your enemies closer,
and the junk food as far away as possible."
Krista-Scott-Dixion

Thanks for joining me
enjoy your weekend
and take good care of you.

Wow! What a post. Or should it be Bow Wow! for the dogs.

Good morning, Karen! Misty has the right idea about junk food. If you want any junk food in my house you have to hide it from my hubby. He is a junk food junkie. Misty and Rusty are both beautiful dogs. Give them a hug from me.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks for your comment and visit. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.

I like your friends of fur and Simply Ruffles with sea salt. Since returning to Marin from Honolulu, I have been addicted to mac nuts! (Ah how they grow in great groves on the Big Island....so impossible to open! I see the land and feel the warm winds as I eat them) Moderation and YES: Horsey Sauce!!! <3

Oh Karen, this is such a great post, right up my alley! I am a closet junk food lover, and I never admit that, so please don’t tell anyone!

One thing I always think about when I think about skipping dessert, is how many women on the titanic did not have dessert that night. Don’t you think they were very sorry?

Thank you so very much, Karen, for jumping in feet first and making our return to Thematic so rich and immersive. As always, your photos take us on an amazing journey and inspire us to get out there and raise our own photographic game.

My heart melted when you got to Misty and Rusty. So. Incredibly. Sweet.

Now, please excuse me while I go and grab a snack. Yum!
