Saturday Critters and Summer Moments

As autumn believes it should be arriving any day now in Minnesota we're enjoying these lovely days. We're expected to have temperatures in the high 80's today. Please enjoy some critter photos and a few events that mark the end of summer. I'm posting for

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS and City Daily Photo

Lasting beauties!

"Good heavens, of what uncostly material is our earthly happiness composed,
if we only knew it. What incomes have we not had from a flower, and how unfailing are the dividends of the seasons."
Henry Ward Beecher

"The measure of intelligence is the ability to change." Albert Einstein

Another call to the end of summer is The Burnsville Fire Muster 2021 which was today. The next three photos are from there.

I'm on the left with two of my co-workers supporting our community as this year's Burnsville Fire Muster volunteers!

I had to meet these cool pups that went by our tables!

This is Lola!

"I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing."
Herman Melville

Meet Mellow!

Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.
Rumi

Dare to be You!

"It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation."
Herman Melville

I've got your back!

Birds in a row!

"Respond to every call that excites your spirit."
Rumi

When our Minnesota State Fair arrives it is the true call of summer coming to a close again.

Of course Roasted Corn on the Cob is one of the biggest hits.
After I took this photo I noticed the fair goer wearing the smiley face although did you catch his expression? Too funny.

Naturally water is high priority as our temperatures are usually in the 80's during the fair.

Another sign summer is waning is in Wayzata (happening this weekend) for
James J. Hill's Day

James Day Hill Day dog races are always exciting!

As are other fun events especially for the children and those young at heart no matter what your age! Don't let me forget so many food trucks waiting to serve you too. So delicious.

"We should not judge people by their peak of excellence; but by the distance they have traveled from the point of where they started."
Henry Ward Beecher

The truest test of character is how we behave when we don't know what to do.
John Holt quotes

As our seasons shift again so does the pace of our lives. Short days already here, a chill in the air not so much yet. But pumpkin spice is everything and everywhere you go!

Thanks for stopping by your comments are everything to me!

Take good care of you and Happy days to all.
