What Do You See and Critters

Welcome to

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and I'm posting to City Daily Photo

Do you feel words or just see letters?

Have you noticed how things on-line are carefully edited, overproduced, if not over-manipulated, photoshopped, AI texts (are they helpful?) and AI photos that often confuse us.

Like the dashing young man (known as the Fedora man) photographed near the Louvre heist turns out wasn't an investigator but 15-year-old Pedro Elias Garzon Delvaux who always dresses like that, and in fact it's a genuine photo taken by AP photographer, Thibault Camus.

Quite possibly what you see with your own eyes might not be what you believe it to be. What you see, might not be the same thing that I see.

Adoration of the season.

My travels began in Stillwater yesterday and it was a gorgeous day!

Can you believe your eyes?

This is the middle of November. Marvelous right?

It was a much-needed road trip to explore my familiar and favorite places in order to reset one's perky generator.

Everyday miracles in your own little world. Catch them while you can.

Even if you feel like being a beast . . .
Be a good rebel.

I can hear the ocean and feel pure hot white sand
between my toes.

(Did you think this was snow?)

What lies behind you and what lies before you can change in mere footsteps. Start walking.

Treasure or not so treasurable it's your choice.

Some people call me Father Christmas.
Others pass by and call me a freak of odds and ends.
Maybe I'm a soldier, look closely.

(Have I mentioned Stillwater has a lot of cool antique stores? This is inside one of them.)

Autumn offers a golden hue artists hope to recreate.

Twinkle lights are such mood pleasers.

What's love, goat to do with it?

Always be teachable.

Be led by the dreams in your heart.

"You become what you understand."

"Life is a journey why not make it luxurious too."

Say what? Go for a walk?

Seeing clearly is like opening a window to your soul.

The world is waiting for you.

There are so many doors to open.

"Be an opener of doors."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Table for four and Artemis too!
Thankfully our server was over the moon about Artemis!

It's the quirky little things that
make life beautiful.

"Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience."
Emerson

Life is an adventurous journey, enjoy it.

You can be whoever you want to be.

Kisses please?!

Hello Karen,
Stillwater looks fabulous! Beautiful view of the water.
I would like to have my toes in a white sandy beach.
Cute kitty! Artemis is adorable. Love the cute goats too.
Are you ready for Christmas? Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great week ahead. PS, thanks so much for leaving me a comment.

You're welcome, I feel the same way you do about comments and am happy to read yours and try to respond to questions too. I am going to be ready, once Christmas arrives it seems I always have something more to do or add. It's that magical time of year and in fact I'm a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies all year long. Silly I know. Enjoy your week and good autumn weather yet I hope. Karen

What a beautiful road trip to Stillwater! The golden autumn light and clear water scenes are stunning. And yes, seeing is believing... or is it? Great thoughts.

Wonderful inspiring posts as usual. Have you read the book " The Emmigrants " by Moberg? Very good and pertains to the St Croix river valley.
Enjoy your Thankgiving if you don't post before then.

I like that seeing is believing ... or is it? So true at times. Thanks for stopping by.

I like that I didn't know that thank you!

I think you mean the photo of my daughter and her little girl are in, which the photo was taken in 2015! Ten years ago.

Thank you, Pat, trying to be on the bright side of things especially these days. It was a rough week too, two corporate level co-workers were let go this last week, as the new CEO is struggling with lower sales. I think it's happening in many companies.

No, I haven't sounds like an interesting book as the St Croix area is beautiful. So many great books out there so little time. While in Duluth recently I bought Murder at Minnesota Point (lovely area across the bridge) by Jeffrey M. Sauve true story, and The Mysterious North Shore of Lake Superior by Willaim and Kathryn Mayo. Also, a lovely area! "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." Carl Sagan (and why I enjoy non-fiction books so much!) I shall (hopefully) post again before Thanksgiving too!

I forgot to mention I bought a very nice dresser at one of those antique shops in stillwater. It mysteriously creaks every once in awhile. You think there is a spirit in it somewhere trying to get out ?

First time here... and I found many interesting, funny and sweet elements.
I came from Eileens Blog by the way... Greetings by Heidrun

Absolutely yes it could be a spirit! LOL My daughter and I took the Haunted History Trolley Tour Saturday at 7pm October 25th and as we drove about Stillwater the trolley made many stops along the way, (even inside the old cemetery) and spirits boarded our trolley (performances by the Zephyr Theatre group) and shared true stories from the olden days in Stillwater! An awesome tour!
