Thematic Photographic # 136 Doubles

Since I started playing along with TP this is the first time, (well truthfully electric caught me by surprise too) that I hit a photo-blocked-double-double-theme!   Finally I pulled out some doubles for Carmi's theme this week and if you want to add in because everyone else is doing just wonders with doubles just go here

http://writteninc.blogspot.com/2011/03/thematic-photographic-132-doubles.html

...Late one evening while thousands upon thousands of immortal stars dusted the sky far out of reach while darkness fell over two lonely statues.....and one of them asked the other..."Will we ever step down from here?"

The windows of my soul are made of one way glass, don't bother looking into my eyes if there's something you want to know, just ask. - Ani Difranco

I like the way you have linked the doubles to the proverbs. I would love to know the location of the statues. The swans are superb.

Fantastic post and magnificent shots with great quotes, I especially love the first photo and my favorite quote is "Make happy those who are near, and those who are far will come." This is so true!

Have a wonderful Sunday Karen! And I too am curious where the first shot was taken.

Bob and Darlin, first photo is of 3 Graces Statue outside Montpellier Theater in Montpellier, France. There are three of them, lucky for me this photo only caught two, for doubles! Who knew at the time!

Wonderful photos! All of them are so fitting for the theme.

Powerful combination of photos and quotes. My favorite is the one with two shadows. What an unusual photo. The quote that goes with it makes me think the two in the photo will be friends forever. Lovely.

Writer the lines are, and did you notice the bird on the ledge...it would have been so cool if there was one more too!
