Thematic Photographic - #153 Parallel oh Parallel

It's time again for another post for Thematic Photographic and the theme Carmi has offered is
Parallel.........

Speaking of parallels intersecting in my world........In two days two lives will be joined in marriage and their first dance as husband and wife will be on the other side of this glass......

"YOU, jot down ideas, memories, whatever, concerning your real life that somehow parallels the character you're playing, and you incorporate that in your scene work." - Chris Cooper

...Ah yes, let it be said "There never were, since the creation of the world, two cases exactly parallel.... " - Lord Chesterfield
Tweet, tweet, chirped two yellow birds sitting in the window....Did you ever see an unhappy bird?  Well, perhaps yes, if they were made of wood.....!
"Young children can so easily cross the barriers of  everyday real life and imaginary realms so very effectively and yet stay on course day after day....  Look into my world and what do you see?" KMS
Sister buildings..."Great and small suffer the same mishaps" - Blaise Pascal...But once a building always a building....oh lucky us that stand so tall.....high above the clouds ...
Look inside my window...... "You find yourself in the world, without any power, unmovable as a rock, stupid, so to speak, as a log of wood," - Nicolas Malebranche... Oh the parallels of life........What once was living within an endless row of trees now stands alone.....

Thank you so much for stopping by to explore Thematic Photographic again this week for a look into Parallels!

The idea of using parallels from window frames is an excellent way of meeting the theme. Wooden birds? Now there's a thought - I hope you don't have any woodpeckers around.
But it was the parallels in the cabin walls in the last picture that I liked best.

I, also, love the cabin photo, but they are all excellent. But Karen, and you know I love you, those birds are FUNKY!!

Great photos! How do you have time to put so many great photos and quotes together so frequently?! You are a blog wizard!

Excellent photos depicting parallels, my favorite is the old building. There's something about old fashioned anything... well almost anything, which I just love!

Have a fantastic evening!

Bob thanks, I fell horrible that I can't comment on your posts, not sure what is up with blogger...your TP post was excellent oo, love the face on the doggie moving so fast he was blurry! Great TP, hopefully blogger will repair their glitch in the system!

Galen- When there's a will there's always a way!
Judie- aren't those funky birds cute?! They are very old, and sit inside one of the old houses at "The Landing"...they were toys back in the day! Imagine kids playing with them today!

Darlin- I love old things too....especially buildings!

They are all very nice photos, but it was the bird that brought the smile to my face.

i like your parallel world!
those cabinets look pretty parallel!
i thought those yellow bird heads looked a little flat-topped!
...since i like wood...old weathered wood especially...my favorite is the outside of the house...
great shots!

I really like the one of the wood birds in the old window. That's my favorite, but the rest are great too!

I liked the promise of the warm glow inside in the first shot -a nice connection with the wedding dance! But the last one is my pick of them all; the texture is wonderful.

The first shot reminds me of the promise of marriage...what a beautifully warm shot and sentiment. Parallel windows...parallel lives.
