Six Word Saturday - 6WS - 11 September 2011

Welcome to  SIX WORD SATURDAY

Tomorrow marks the 10 year anniversary of 9 11 ..... and the news is buzzing with talk of possible new attempts happening.  My brain tells me to listen to the news, while my intuition tells me to run away from it.

So can you guess what's on my mind?

SIX WORD SATURDAY IS................And

Thanks to Cate, from Show My Face, blog she invites us to explain our life and thoughts at the moment in Six Words every Saturday until we meet again for a new round......

Since my brain has forced me to listen to the news, this has been heavy on my heart.....

WE NEED TOGETHERNESS
           FOR US ALL

If only, right?

Really, we're all not so different that we can't all get along.

Sure we can have disagreements-  without being disagreeable right?"

Maybe if we used what we were taught as children and what we continue to teach...

Be kind, saying.... Please, Thank - You, Excuse Me, Bless You, You're Welcome, more often, and try getting along with everyone.

Maybe we just need a little music - listen to this link

If you want to play along too (all you need is six words!)  just go here

A timely post. The world can always use more niceness.

Togetherness and niceness - if only. I think we all have heavy hearts and minds today -some more than others

Stopping by from SWS. Blessings!

Couldn't agree with you more. Reminds me of this saying. "I learned everything I needed to know by the time I finished kindergarten." So why do people spend the rest of their lives forgetting it all?

Madona is okay but she didn't do it really good like the Beatles did in "Come together, right now."
Happy 6WS!

Yes your words are timely...we won't have world peace until we have peace right in our homes...

Great choice of words, I agree togetherness is what we all need more of. Do you know who your neighbors are? I'm getting to know one of mine but for the better part living in a city for years I never knew my neighbors. I miss the togetherness of community, there is such a lack of it where I live and I'm beginning to wonder if it's like this everywhere besides out on the farm.

Darlin, oh yes, we moved here in 1989 so pretty much all our children grew up together, shared the good times and the wee bad times. Now to share the weddings and the births...so yeah, except for the newer neighbors through the last few years about 3 families, they keep pretty much to themselves! But we still all do respect our privacy as well.....! It's a nice blend! One thing is we all have each other's back through thick and thin, if anyone needs help!

Beautiful post. I agree very much. I didn't watch any of the news coverage yesterday but remembered and paid tribute in my own way.

Thanks for playing 6WS.

it would seem the sensible thing to do, but you know how some people are petty...

a good intention nonetheless.
