S A T U R D A Y C E N T U S ...Post
and it's speaking about "Friday night football" as Jenny's theme prompt....allowing for this game, a goal of no more than 103 words, and throw out a photo if you care to cross the goal line happily!
In a field of friendly flowers....I find thee.... |
“Friday night football?” Not on your life, as exciting as that wouldn’t be.
I’m longing for butterfly touches, intoxicating passions, unlimited goals of surprising pleasures of back rubs, deep breaths, and gentle games…..
“And nobody carrying a leather ball over any yard line.
That’s a Friday night worth experiencing!”
“So if you’d rather watch your “Friday night football….” Go ahead, see if I stop you! While I dash out the door in my stunning and most steamy of all skimpy sun dresses and spend a few hours on a grassier playing field dancing my Friday night away, and possibly meet somebody new?
So if you're not too busy watching football, why not join us in on some fun here

So gentlemen let this be a lesson to you....the proof is below..... (this was based on a true story)
....... from my ninth grade prom. I had a red-haired boyfriend who hated dances and agreed that I could attend our 9th grade prom with a girl friend. Sadly for him, but oh so happily for me, I met at this dance (Dreamy David) my soon to be first real true love.....Oh yes, he loved to dance, (my parents/grand-parents later loved him) and he had been watching me from afar, (we had a huge class of students) ....and we were quickly together forever....and ever...until I met my first red-haired imagine that husband....! So much for childhood-sweethearts....I wonder if he's on Facebook....for another day....!

Hey, at least she gave him fair warning, right?
;)
I love this! So under-the-surface tension and emotion! Brilliant! I'm sure the TV would not go on!
Karen, the prompt also brought back images of my first high school love! What a wonderful take!
Thankfully my H.S. love wasn't so sports minded. He didn't like dances either mind you, but he took me to all of them since 9th grade (circa 1974) and even college formals. He's my husband of almost 30 years now.
So does this husband watch friday night football?:)~Ames
"back rubs, deep breaths, and gentle games….."
Now that's the way to go!
Namaste..........cj
Very well said...good for you!!!
That's a great photo. Is it someone you know? Did you take it?
ouch!
Thank you, that's exactly what this man needs is for me to stop calling, stop coming to the farm and send him some photos of me all dolled up and ready for a night on the town...without him! A jolt into "HELLO, I'M RIGHT HERE PAY SOME ATTENTION OR LOSE ME FOREVER!" I'll wait til I get to Australia and send him photos of me on the beach, ya that's just what I'm going to do! lol Thanks again... you're brilliant! And I'll be singing "She's single again" by Shania Twain. ;-)
YES! You gotta love ladies that do their own and gain something/someone great out of it!!!!!
bahahaha the facebook part cracked me up!
Mrs. F. Thanks Mrs. F. glad you stopped by, your saying the Facebook part cracked you up, still has me laughing!
Lisa, yes and yes! He's not either of the red-haired sweethearts though...just a friend! Thanks for stopping by!
Darlin- sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do!
Ames, no not so much, if there's not much going on or I'm at work and no ones around he will! We aren't really crazy about sports here, our teams are the Vikings and The Twins....and sports/money/attitudes make for a sore subject!
Search him on FB!
:D
much
Karen: Football tops everything - except "stunning and most steamy of all skimpy sun dresses."
Loved this! I love football, and I love to dance! Thank you for taking me back to some very fun memories! I especially liked your sun dress line.
