Saturday Centus - Why, oh why

WELCOME TO ANOTHER

SATURDAY CENTUS

WHY, OH WHY, OH WHY has Jenny given us such a prompt?

I'm not being silly either, it's her prompt in striking hot pink color too!

Answer with 105 words, with "query" as our writing style.
Truth or fiction.

But, Jenny asks that it should be about any question we want answered, (one that has nagged us forever?) written to anyone, living or dead.

We may add other pictures as well.

My Query letter follows

Dear Sir or Madam,

Forgive me, for not using your name or true gender.  I'm writing with the understanding that you already know my dear friend, Watson and that we are the best sleuths available.

It has come to our attention, with painful regret I may add, that you are literally sucking the blood right out of the people in our fair city.

Why, oh why, oh why would you commit such a dreadful act?  Have you no remorse?  Bound by our oath we'll bring you to justice.

We know they call you, Tick.  Surely an odd name but we will prevail!

Sincerely,

Sherlock Holmes

Could this white glowing object to the left be a useful print?
Sherlock predicts without answers, people we begin to find a new place to live.

The photo of the office, was taken in Sherlock's genuine (museum) office.

If you feel like playing along too
I mean don't you just love writing letters?

Then go here

Dear Karen,
That is so clever and funny!
Love it! Sherlock Holmes, indeed! Nice pics to go with it.

Thank you for visiting my SC-post. You are First Commenter and get an extra link.

My poem is written with an ancester in mind. When we were looking at our geneology we found a woman whose children all emigrated and she was left alone, but lived a very long life.

I'm hoping to be able to find out more about her. She would make a good character for a novel. Maybe.

I hope that I did not cast gloom on your day!

Best wishes,
Anna
