Alphabe-Thursday Possibly -

ALPHABE-THURSDAY

Today we celebrate the letter "P"

A Perfect - Fancy Pigeon

Pigeons are perplexing, wouldn't you agree?
Did you know they bob their heads for depth of perception?

It's really sad that many people think pigeons are pests.  They are after all the most intelligent of birds.

 Pigeons of the plaza
and that's no pun!

Pigeons sharing pizza.

Pigeons playing on posts is a perfect pigeon-pastime!

Never ever should we forget the roll of

Pigeon Protector

You see, the pigeon can see color in the same way humans do but they can also see ultra-violet,  a part of the spectrum that humans cannot see, another reason why they are so well adapted to lifesaving.

Or the staying power of

Pigeons in a pack.

 Pigeon perfection
in Pigeon Performance

Placed upon Pretty Postcards these perfect pigeons play their game
of pigeon perfection!

Political Pigeons

out spreading the word.

Playing with popcorn and feeding pigeons is a great pastime!
As a matter of fact, that's me, several years ago!
With an animal Puppet around me!

Accept that some days you are the pigeon and some days you are the statue!

I am always trying to get those darn birds out of my yard although it's registered with the NWF and a habitat.. they leave such a trail of mess out there... but I do love them so I'm the one with the problem... lol
Nice photos

Love the photos

All life is precious (I taught my 30YOs that as toddlers)...but those that add beauty to our world deserve the shout out.

Glad to find another soul who sees the beauty in the common pigeon.

Without being told I would not have thought that first shot a pigeon. The shot of the pigeon on the wall with the city spread out before it is certainly my favorite of this post. The possibilities it inspires is wonderful and perhaps it should be on one of those posters with the inspirational quotes.

Pigeons are much maligned, that's for sure. One reason pigeons like living among humans is because we too are messy. :))

some perfectly great pigeon pictures! The first one is quite fascinating. I like the "city protector." didn't know they could see ultra violet. How cool!

The pidgeons we have around here are profoundly dumb.

They sit in the street and don't even move.

Yikes.

Too bad I couldn't find a way to make that a meat product for sale! I could get rich.

Okay.

That was pretty disgusting.

Your pidgeons are much prettier...and they looks smarter, too!

Thanks for linking.

A+
