I Could Do That
I could do that, interpretation.
"Cubists" I overheard, candidly.
Over by "Still Life With a Guitar"- oddly.
Understand I'm not belittling and I see man's image-unafraid
Let me just say- logically
Darn, why don't I give this a try? Damned if I don't.
Didn't you say you'd meet me here at three, -directly?
Or was it to be Saturday instead of today? Oddly,
This is my first visit to Acquavella, thank-you.
Hardly is this where I dreamed your expressions of, heavenly
art by egg tempera would be placed, alive and
towering over the likes of Leger or Bloomberg and Tanguy.
This artist, Fernand Leger painted his mind's dream
and so I followed his vision and wrote my own poetic dream.
How many times can you find "I could do that?"
At least four times?
Thank you Tess Kincaid, for this Magpie Tales prompt.

... and you should!
and as long as you keep saying i can do that...you will surely go far...
"I can do that!" The unforgettable theme of "The Chorus Line."
It's viewing the six sides of the same object all at once, that I always find overwhelming! I'm not so sure "I can do that", but I love the Chorus Line, I love cubism, and I really love your poem, Karen. Thank you for sharing this. =D
Very nice piece of art and good light.
Greetings,
Filip
An excellent poem, very clever.
i love overhearing a conversation. and this one intrigues. the conversational tone is perfect for the balance of confidence and uncertainly
thank you much

Well positive attitudes are catching! and although cubism isn't my favorite style, this one could be a lot harsher!
thanks-
An interesting response to gallery talk, head-talk and positive. Great lines.
I am sure you can, keep the positive thoughts and just start trying.
Excellent- love this! and thanks for your nice comments!!!

What a worthy tribute to the image, it seems like attracts like, so very creative and entertaining, thanks
My salute to Fernand Leger who depicted his mind dream in such a fantastic way....very creative image I must say!
