Six Word Saturday - 10 May 2014

EVERYONE HAS A MOTHER TO THANK

SIX WORD SATURDAY

So HAPPY Mother's Day To ALL

We lost my mother six years ago.  My grand-daughter, Lyra says my mother now lives with the stars.

Every year since my mother has gone to live with the stars, my oldest son has registered us all to attend the Susan G. Komen, Twin Cities, Race for the Cure.

We'll all be there again tomorrow, bright and early!

Last year in Bloomington, Minnesota.

My oldest son is wearing the backpack and his youngest son to his left, my daughter-in-law is in the pink hoodie and the two little girls in the wagon are my grand-daughters.  In the pink T-Shirt is my son-in-law and my daughter to his right, you can just barely see her.  That's just six of us, that got in this photo of us nearing the finish line, for the Race for the Cure.

This year we'll all be there again.

May everyone, everywhere enjoy a wonderful weekend in your celebrations.

Happy Mother's Day to you all.

So Put On Your Dancing Shoes!
and Dance.

My grand-daughter, Lyra in pink, loves to keep on dancing!

Please visit Cate, at Six Word Saturday and the rest of us to see what's happening in their world today.
Go here.

Love that little Kate! My Emily was just like that when she was little. Actually, she is still like this in her 20's! St. Louis has a Mother's Day race, too! Happy Mother's Day!

It's hard when they're gone. It gets easier, but not much. I'm blogging about mine tomorrow.

LIttle Kate is having a fine time isn't she! My mom died 25 years ago.. far too young. Your participation in Race for the Cure is a wonderfully positive way to honor your mom!

It sounds like it can't fail to be a great day, Karen, and what a lovely way to celebrate her life. It's almost 24 years since mine died. An unbelievably long time.

God Bless You! What wonderful shots of your phamily. I lost my favorite aunt to dreaded breats cancer. I find that the older you are the less anyone cares. Breaks my heart. Thank you for your share and thank you for walking/running/caring. Happy Mother's Day to you!
