Good Fences #20 - 7 August 2014

Greetings from a Wisconsin Campground this last weekend.

Let's Go Camping!
(and search for fences)

In the summertime when the weather is hot- you pack up and head to the lake.

Warrens, Wisconsin-  Photo of a random owner's camping site. This Jellystone Park has many owner sites throughout the park, with some folks residing here all year long!

Really?  Who wears a princess dress while camping?

Lyra does!  Sunday's activities included a Prince and Princess Fashion Show with Miss Cindy Bear.

Midnight stroll anyone?

So many sites with strings of lights, so little time to catch them all.

The days were packed with so many activities a midnight stroll was necessary to enjoy all the festive decor, and the quiet that awaits.

I can't forget to mention bonfires.  I'm totally hooked on that intoxicating smell of campfire smoke drifting through the air.

Kodak picture moment-
Show me your red tongues!

How fun...to even have a fashion show. And the midnight lights on the fencing is great....and the quiet after a busy, busy day would be ever so inviting.

Such fun photos, those happy children make me smile. Thanks for visiting. In answer to your question, yes that was a poppy. I saw a lot of poppies over there and in France. I've always loved them.

Sweet photo of the red tongued young'uns. :) Nice rugged fence too. I'd sure love to live year-round at a park.

What fun! Looks like a great camping trip. Warrens is about 2 1/2 hours south of us. It's very pretty through that area, isn't it. We have more rolling hills up here. Enjoyed the photos and the midnight stroll. I too love the smell of campfires. We're having a huge bonfire here tomorrow night when the family is together.

Lots of nice fences, fun for the kids and I so love the smell of a campfire. Not a camper anymore but I love a Fall fire in the chimenea!

Camping is the greatest family activity! We were campers for many years when our kids were growing up, and we occasionally still get the chance when I go off on one of my excursions. Great fun.
