SKY

If only I knew our theme was SKY last evening while I enjoyed the incredible cloud party overhead as I mowed!  It was quite an accomplishment that nothing horrible occurred while keeping my eyes on mowing and cloud gazing!

Carmi has declared SKY as our theme this week.

Our skies have many appearances.

"The sky is that beautiful old parchment
in which the sun and the moon keep their diary."
Alfred Kreymborg

We know it's not Superman.
But, is it a bird, is it a plane
or what is it caught in this photo?

They are just  2 Mayflies that were in unbelievable amounts either swarming around us or gathering on objects!

Looking south while shooting this with my cell phone.

Next photo is same sky seconds later, opposite direction, different effect.

Looking north.

A hint of sky. No matter where we are in nature, the sky is always there.

As evening falls around one of garden gnomes.

Thanks for sharing some thoughts with me.  Enjoy your week and be sure to notice what sky is over your head right now!

I am sky obsessed. Love the way it changes minute by minute. Dawn is nearly here now, and I am looking forward to the first peek at the day.
