Running the Wrong Way

My post today is inspired by those blogging friends I've grown very fond of are for their own particular feelings and reasons bidding a farewell (for a period) to Facebook, or right here in our own Bloggerville.

"The Highest Thought is always that thought which contains joy.
The Clearest Words are those words which contain truth.
The Grandest Feeling is that feeling
which you call love."
Neale Donald Walsch

The sun kissed my face this day,
autumness was brewing, one leaf at a time,
and joyful statues
playing my favorite game of catch!

Sometimes, I find myself running away from people, or things
when really I should be running towards them.

On those days I find solace in one of my quiet places.

Of course that's not to say that finding silence
and meditation isn't important, because it is.

Spending time with people and animals is equally rewarding.
Even if they're strangers or faces we may never ever see again.
Take time to notice and relate.

Sometimes you need to step out of your life and
vary your focus.

Don't laugh at this photo. I shot this when I was  13 years old and my mother and I were visiting my grandparents overseas.  We had just left visiting my Uncle's grave, our mood was somber and we were all very silent. Until this man came into view.

See the good in little things right?

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
Neale Donald Walsch

"Good friends, good books,
and a sleepy conscience
this is the ideal life."
Mark Twain

I find this especially true right here in Bloggerville.
This is where we laugh, learn, cry, smile, enjoy share, discover,
and oh so many more things.

This is what I imagine Bloggerville looks like.

Listen to your body, and especially listen
to the things that the people closest to you have to say.

My mother-in-law used to say,
"Your silence always means something is wrong."

Listen to more music
dance, sing, laugh.

"Your soul doesn't care what you do for a living.
and when your life is over, neither will you.
Your soul only cares about what you are being
while you are doing whatever you are doing."
Neale Donald Walsch

Nice bloggerville! I may have slowed down blogging (I am on facebook more), but I still can't imagine giving it up.

It's unanimous Karen, we all enjoyed your idea of bloggerville 😊 I must admit often I feel that I could quite happily give Facebook up forever. Absolutely love the joyous sculpture here, that's happy and carefree, let's keep it for bloggerville ☺
