A Whisper of Saturday Critters

Welcome to

Autumn has arrived by calendar,
not so much in the air.
A few cooler evenings.
Thankfully.

Still, you will see hints of autumn,
but also, see if you can catch a few hints
of Halloween throughout here.

These bones were made for rattling!

To be human is to keep rattling the bars of the
cage of existence, hollering,
"What's it for?"

Be like a warrior and pull up your fishing line!

Even little fishes matter.

Caught while,
Out taking photos of her critters!

Be grateful for the beginning of little things
they give us peace
another way of touching, feeling,
living one moment to the next.

You will remember the little things,
long after you've forgotten the big things.

"You can discover more about a person in an hour of play (or a tweet)
than in a year of conversation."
Plato

Fishing, is much more than fish!

No worries, this little fishy is going back into the water!

From the next two photos,
Some of you may think, Who is this ugly creature, critter or man?

A Video of the magic of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival here.

To me this little bobblehead of the Minnesota RatCatcher brings sweet memories of years of happy and pleasurable skits from The famous RatCatcher and his visits at the festival,
which will be forever remembered.

Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire!

Always be hopeful.

"Life must be lived as play.
Playing certain games, making sacrifices,
singing and dancing
and then a man will be able to
propitiate the gods,
and defend himself against his enemies
and win in the contest."

Plato

One thing about autumn arriving is

what season comes storming in after it.
Winter.

"There are two things a person should
never be angry at,
what they can help,
and what they cannot."
Plato

Just enjoy every season to its fullest!
Thanks for stopping by
and take good care of you!

Karen - much as I'm happy to leave Winter behind in my new Sweaty Betty life in Thailand, I have to say I'm drawn to snow and your last awesome photo could be a Christmas card - love it!

Enjoyed your photos and your quotes. I love Fall but Winter, not so much. I'd like it better if it was a lot shorter, lol.

I have heard that our summer is going to be particularly hot this year Karen, so I'm rather envying you heading into winter and rely on your upcoming snow images to keep me cool.. if only we could share a little of each others weather 😀

Great pics and great quotes Karen. Plato's last quote would be helpful to keep tempers in check!

I really wish I were up there or in the UP already. Life is so much better UP North. Thanks, my friend. Hugs.

The leaves are already changing, I see. And that last pic suggests that we should top Spain with the "Running of the Buffalo"!
