This week's theme for Thematic Photographic is reaching upward....or sideways....but it's roots are lodged within......"Treedom" rings..... and if you find yourself hanging around ...outside searching for something to do (as I did yesterday morning after yet again another hopefully last snow fall of this spring) follow along and see what I discovered......
Just in case you want to play along too, go here
http://writteninc.blogspot.com/2011/04/thematic-photographic-142-let-treedom.html
and so it goes in the life of a tree and the daily seasons that affect it...
and how they survive.....
A lost ball, and the old tree house, not forgotten just waiting....... |
Sorry birdies, this won't last long..... |
Oh the simple power and magic of these powerful familiar trees firmly rooted in our life..... |
You see, just last week this is what I found outside my door...and Monster (grounds keeper# 1) resting happily on a past tree turned to bench......"Oh how my life is good....) |
I can only wish this view was tucked within our land....this is along Minnehaha Creek in Minneapolis, and shows that spring was breaking through step by step....

Karen, at least the ground is getting the moisture it needs... the flowers will be so beautiful when they finally arrive!
Have a great Sunday!
Good series of photos again, Karen. The cat looks very contented.
Love the pines!
Great pictures, although I purposely ignored the snowy ones :) Loved the one of the cat on the bench, he/she looks a lot like mine except mine are short haired. But he/she sure looks content sitting in the sun.
Oh, what lovely photos! Yes, spring is getting here! That cat looks like my dearly departed Alex cat. Beautiful!
These are nice photos! I think bare trees in the winter are quite beautiful. Thank you for stopping by my blog. :)
how is MY kitty

(I joined to keep an eye on her; and to learn about healthy affordable food :-)

spring is not far off...the determined new growth will keep poking through! :)
Nothing like seeing tiny bits of green breaking through last year's wilt! Snow is pretty difficult to stomach this time of year, but as others have said, it does make for great flowers down the road...
