Thematic Photographic - Series -Seeds for Running

THEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHIC

SERIES THEME -   SEEDS FOR RUNNING

Day, after day we watch people stroll or run by here.....

Thinking with his legs and itchy feet,

and with his faithful pal beside him, their feet obeyed magnificently to the beat of their hearts...

and with their heads held high into the wind.....

together they were off and running - never to be seen again!

Moral to the story: Never allow your statues to take a run!
Just had to post another "series" themed photos for Carmi's
Thematic Photographic ..... series theme.

Once again, your photos make the statue look like it is actually moving. Great series, and (as always) great story to go with it.

"never to be seen again!" Hahaha! Very clever, Karen! Maybe if you whistle, the dog will come back!!

That's clever, it seems to be running past!

Manship meant it to be a complete sculpture all by itself. Like many of Manship's sculptures, Indian Hunter and His Dog has a shape that tells the whole story.

Fine subject for Thematic 202.

The series of the week without a doubt. I shall look at statues differently in future. Brilliant.

A statue with a lot of movement, which is not easy to capture. It’s rather lovely. and I like the accompanying words too - almost a poem.
