Happy World Kindness Day and This and That Stuff

Happy World Kindness Day to everyone, everywhere. Also, taking special note to say how sad it was to learn about Stan Lee passing. Even for those that don't know him by name or face, they will forever still marvel over the many endless gifts and memories he will forever offer us.

"America is made of different races and different religions, but we're all co-travelers on the spaceship Earth and must respect and help each other along the way." Stan Lee

Never forget the words of wisdom E.T. bestowed.

Never forget where you came from.
Call home, often. I won't let anyone hurt you.

"But still, Ayumi said, "it seems to me that this world has a serious shortage of both logic and kindness." "You may be right," Aomame said, "But it's too late to trade it in for another one."

Horse logic?

If you get the chance to share a conversation with a horse (or any critter for that matter) do it.

This, is the kind of person I want to be.

On the importance of including everyone. Even ladies or other characters made from plastic bags.

"I have always included minority characters in my stories, often as heroes."
Stan Lee

"I think I've never stopped feeling like a kid."
Stan Lee

Be interested in everything that you do.
Always.
Without fail.

Photo after Lyra's performance in this year's play. Bravo to all, and especially the generous hours of costume making.

Yard decorations and their importance. "The pleasure of reading a story and wondering what will come next for the hero is  pleasure that has lasted for centuries and, I think, will always be with us."
Stan Lee

Yep, this beauty was taken near my own house.

"The trouble with superheroes is what to do between phone booths.

Telephone booths. They're important. Not just for making telephone calls either.

Kindness is the most valuable gift you can give anyone.

Do things for others. Sweep them away with your kindness. Always.

Again this year we celebrated Patriotic Day. I was inspired with the fresh falling flakes that arrived just for this special evening.
"To survive in peace and harmony, united and strong, we must have one people, one nation one flag."
Pauline Hanson

But also to honor and respect others, their nations and their flags as well. After all we are One People.

The this and that's of our days here on earth are made up of collecting memories and rocks,

and sharing in our duty and privilege of voting our voice.

I hope you all did too!

Of course it goes without saying our this and that always include honoring birthdays of those we love.

I'm sure most of you saw this on Facebook. Incredibly smart post. It really got me thinking and apparently this event got many other folks curious.

Actually for us we moved clocks backward one hour. Okay laugh if you will however my grand-daughter asked me "Just how does the world move by turning back our clocks?"

Everywhere you go leave a wave of kindness.

Still in closing, I believe this speaks volumes to our #WorldKindnessDay.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart for stopping in, I know life gets a bit busy for us all, and my posts have been fewer, but just know that you are all in my thoughts every single day. Take good care of you.
