Live from The Fine Arts Building for Artist's Preview Night
and
It's all about
that gleaming part of one's life,
which we can relate to our self without blushing,
and being proud of one's own accomplishments.
Whether your artwork won any prizes,
honorable mentions,
or even made it for display this year.
We wait all year long for this extravaganza!
Greetings Scarecrow!
Subtly he shuddered, "There seems to be a nest on my head."
Boxer Clown- boxing around.
Below-
This is not your typical Cad, or even a normal tank-
Titled as, A Caprice Classic, drawn within a tank.
Not your everyday slippers by any means.
Although, with all this dripping mud, much slipping is possible.
Quite scandalous I know and I venture to guess much wisdom lurks behind these alluring eyes-
and some believe her to be prissy, but I found her quite on track with being quietly subtle in nature.
I know it seems this piece of artwork might resemble something on the edible nature (at one time anyway) however,
velveteen and wool are the true ingredients. Seriously.
This 4-H member (you know this by his shirt emblem) is located outside and I actually chased him down. From a distance it was questionable whether he was real or a statue.
On the subject of Black and White
This year offered much in Black and White and a few pieces being of scandalous nature won't appear in this post. But these will.
I fancied this artist's creativity again this year.
I'm the woman and random folks joined me.
On our approach we remained pretty much the same
(other than the super-white effect of our skin tone) but our backgrounds changed drastically.
Last year animal faces would randomly take over anyone's face as the camera caught us walking up. But apparently that wasn't the smoothest of situations, so I was told. I know it worked for me.
Here's a glimpse of my work, Robot Jekyll's Time Garden, which
didn't survive all the phases and I had to bring him home a week ago.
But we were almost in! So back to the drawing board for me, and better luck next year.
Once again I must say-
It was again another formidable and intriguing experience for the Fine Arts Exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair.
I hope you enjoyed this quick round of artwork.
