To The Close of 2022 and Critters on Saturday

Hello to all dear friends and family!

This SATURDAY CRITTER'S

post brings good cheer and wishes to you all for a new joyous and prosperous new year ahead!

"The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes."

G.K. Chesterton

My daughter's kitties!

Let your spirit soar! Go for the unreachable!

Hope and Smiles from the threshold of the year to come,

Whispering 'it will be happier' Alfred Lord Tennyson and everything you've ever hoped for if you just believe it to be so.

"Really guys, are you serious?!"

Yes... yes, we are. My youngest son's dog Rusty!

You don't always need to understand your journey in life- just live in the moment before you.

"Sometimes our light goes out but is blown again into instant flame by an encounter with another human being." Albert Schweitzer

Or when we change up the things we do, even like driving home a new way.

Of course, we all know Snowmen have more patience than people sometimes, that's why we love them so much!

Hanging with my Gnomes, as they gather around the birdhouse built by my son, Dan.

"Every experience no matter how bad it seems holds within it a blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it." Buddha

"Every piece of the universe, even the tiniest little snow crystal, matters somehow. I have a place in the pattern, and so do you. Thinking of you this holiday season!" T.A. Barron

I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for following along with me again this past year, and for letting me into your lives as well. Here's to another wonderful a year ahead for us all.

Take good care of you.

"This is a wonderful day I've never seen this one before."

My daughter sent this photo of her kitty Sparkle, who appears quite content, or rather Queen of Everything, please don't bother me now!

Maya Angelou

So, these next two photos occurred by accident as I was experimenting with my hubby's new and powerful cell phone. My daughter decided to send me one from her phone with her pups. Adorable right?!

And this is my Peacock which was my first attempt at highlighting what I wanted from the photo and eliminating the rest.

It appears after a rain/snow mix and eventually turning to all snow and now the deep, very deep freeze that winter is here to stay for a good long while.

Thank you for your visit

Take good care of you and don't stress too much this holiday season.

Critters and Luxury

 Welcome to

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and our City Daily Photo theme post for December.

Our theme this month is

LUXURY

Beginning from my visit through Tinsel Trail in downtown Huntsville, Alabama this tree decoration reminded me of my son's dog Bugsley!

All photos are from my recent trip to Alabama to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family.

What a luxury it was too!

Hello from Cierra and Lyra, we were at one of my favorite places, Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment that offers a luxurious wander through the works of local artists.

I gave much thought to our luxury theme and the deeper I thought I knew luxury to me is time and especially time spent with loved ones, which definitely includes critters and friends, and not just things.

Please meet Sparkle, we just finished decorating my daughter's Christmas tree.

All their bases covered.

Artemis by the door and Athena at the bottom of the stairs dividing their time while their daddy was putting up the outdoor lights and we were up the stairs decorating the tree!

Athena hanging out while all the Thanksgiving preparations were happening.

Time well spent hoping she could also catch a treat or two!

Live luxuriously, and sometimes that might be outdoors in an empty space while deep thought, or just hanging with family.

Meet Miss Lou-Lou she's such a sweetheart always willing to be cuddled.

Afterall only you can determine what luxury means to you.

Tug of war with a new toy I brought them.

I had to stop coloring with my granddaughter to take time for a quick photo of Sparkle, she's my "I'll always pose for you photo-kitty.

Caught Sparkle in stealth mode thinking she could hop inside the box of decorations!

"So much space, such silence, so much time. To drift. To think. To let your mind roam anywhere it pleases. To dream. Perhaps the true luxury of our age is not the piles of goods we endlessly accumulate, but Time." Ferenc Mate'

We have fire and water, will and desire and even though the rain is falling we're going to complete this Tinsel Trail delight no matter what!

A couple more photos from our time spent so wonderfully together walking Huntsville's Tinsel Trail.

"Everything good you see is a product of time well spent."

and I give thanks to every single individual that uses their imagination, from days long ago into the future who create their artworks and that they share them with everyone that seeks them.

This year they had over 350 trees to brighten up and boost all of our holiday spirits.

One of my traveling Gnomes says "Hello to you all" while he's sharing time upon my dashboard in search of Christmas throughout our city, together.

Thanks for sharing this time with me and know your comments are very much appreciated.

Take good care.
