What Do You See and Critters

Welcome to

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and I'm posting to City Daily Photo

Do you feel words or just see letters?

Have you noticed how things on-line are carefully edited, overproduced, if not over-manipulated, photoshopped, AI texts (are they helpful?) and AI photos that often confuse us.

Like the dashing young man (known as the Fedora man) photographed near the Louvre heist turns out wasn't an investigator but 15-year-old Pedro Elias Garzon Delvaux who always dresses like that, and in fact it's a genuine photo taken by AP photographer, Thibault Camus.

Quite possibly what you see with your own eyes might not be what you believe it to be. What you see, might not be the same thing that I see.

Adoration of the season.

My travels began in Stillwater yesterday and it was a gorgeous day!

Can you believe your eyes?

This is the middle of November. Marvelous right?

It was a much-needed road trip to explore my familiar and favorite places in order to reset one's perky generator.

Everyday miracles in your own little world. Catch them while you can.

Even if you feel like being a beast . . .
Be a good rebel.

I can hear the ocean and feel pure hot white sand
between my toes.

(Did you think this was snow?)

What lies behind you and what lies before you can change in mere footsteps. Start walking.

Treasure or not so treasurable it's your choice.

Some people call me Father Christmas.
Others pass by and call me a freak of odds and ends.
Maybe I'm a soldier, look closely.

(Have I mentioned Stillwater has a lot of cool antique stores? This is inside one of them.)

Autumn offers a golden hue artists hope to recreate.

Twinkle lights are such mood pleasers.

What's love, goat to do with it?

Always be teachable.

Be led by the dreams in your heart.

"You become what you understand."
Kierkgaard

"Life is a journey why not make it luxurious too."

Say what? Go for a walk?

Seeing clearly is like opening a window to your soul.

The world is waiting for you.

There are so many doors to open.

"Be an opener of doors."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Table for four and Artemis too!
Thankfully our server was over the moon about Artemis!

It's the quirky little things that
make life beautiful.

"Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience."
Emerson

My daughter and her daughter on safari, in 2015!

Life is an adventurous journey, enjoy it.

You can be whoever you want to be.

"There are certain pivotal moments in life when clarity replaces its opposite in the blink of an eye."
Sol Luckman

Kisses please?!

Thank you for stopping in and gifting me with your comments.
Season yourself by enjoying your day
and take good care of you and those around you.

City Daily Photo November Theme is Breakfast

Our subject for City Daily Photo is breakfast as our theme for November.

"Everyone runs around trying to find a place where they still serve breakfast because eating breakfast, even if it's 5 o'clock in the afternoon, is a sign that the day has just begun and good things can still happen."

Jonathan Goldstein quotes

What, you've never had soup for breakfast? My idea of food is often upside down. I'll enjoy breakfast during dinner hours and soup anytime of the day!

Can you guess which shade of white this is?
Did you know white is the lightest color? It is achromatic, meaning without hue, and stands opposite of black.

The Better Half Restaurant in Lakeville, is one of my ultimate favorite breakfast places and I always order their Avocado Toast pictured here.

Did you know eating breakfast while standing up in the living room is the best time ever?!

Enjoy your Sunday and maybe breakfast for dinner tonight.

Ohana and Critters

I've neglected posting between a whirlwind of adventures, family and work things. Family is important, a blessing and "family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten" and it's not just blood ties. Family means many things, past, and present especially when our hearts are open.

So on to today's post for,

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

and City Daily Photo

My favorite thing is going where I've never been, and my second favorite thing is photographing places I've already been but shooting it differently.

"Photographers are violent people. First, they frame you, then they shoot you,
then they land you on the wall."

There's adventure waiting between raindrops.

"As a photographer you have a deep love for light, life and yourself. You know that the eyes of love aren't blind, they are wide open. Only when your eye, heart and soul shine brighter than the sun, you realize how ordinary it is to love the beautiful, and how beautiful it is to love the ordinary."

Marius Vieth

Life is way too short for boring cars.

Some people say you need a person in every photo. I disagree.

"You don't take a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."
Ansel Adams

"A river cuts through rock not because of its power but because of its persistence."

"A question that sometimes drives me hazy:
am I or are the others crazy?"
Albert Einstein

It's my chew toy let it go!

"If animals could speak, the dog would be a blundering outspoken fellow; but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much.
Mark Twain

"It's just the most amazing thing to love a dog, isn't it? It makes our relationships with people seem as boring as a bowl of oatmeal."
John Grogan

"Animal lovers are a special breed of humans, generous of spirit, full of empathy, perhaps a little prone to sentimentality, and with hearts as big as a cloudless sky."
John Grogan

Clouds are the sky's imagination.

"When we feel stuck, look at the sky. The clouds remind us that everything changes."

"Really" I heard them whisper across the water, "Is summer really over again?"

"Cause a little bit of summer is what the whole year is about."
John Mayer

Once again daylight savings time ends we turn our clocks back at 2 am Sunday morning.

Nope, I do not need a haircut.

"Someday everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason."
John Mayer

I feel I need a few lyrics from John Mayer, maybe you do too. Here are some.

"I am an architect of days that have not happened yet.
Take all your wasted honor, every little past frustration, take all of your so-called problems, better put'em in quotations and
Keep me where the light is."
John Mayer

Thanks for spending time with me and
Take good care of you.

The right shoe can make everything different.
