Thematic Photographic - 208 Grey

THEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHIC

Carmi, from "Written Inc blog" says "Grey" is the word!

"We take the pressure and we throw it away-conventionality belongs to yesterday -"

"I solve my problems and I see the light -
We gotta plug and think, we gotta feed it right."

Or, maybe just turn on a light!

"We start believing now that we can be who we are!"

Even if that means putting on a costume.

"There is a chance that we can make it so far
I solve my problems and I see the light."

(look - de plane, de plane.)

This is the life of illusion
Wrapped up in trouble laced with confusion

"We start believing now that we can be who we are."

Even grey days can be okay, just throw on some colorful clothes!"

"They think our love is just a growing pain-
Why don't they understand, It's just a crying shame.
We start to find right now we got to be what we feel."

Just in case you believe you can't help yourself and grey/grease is the word
YOU HEAR
and you gotta hear it for real
then check this out

it's got groove it's got meaning!

If grey is the way you are feeling

I always identified most closely with Eeyore - his entire life was grey, and I always wished he'd be able to see the sun.

Delightful series, Karen: You are so good at seeing the same thing from so many different perspectives. You'd probably be amazing in a brainstorming/pitch meeting: idea after great idea!

Carmi- I totally agree with you about Eeyore, maybe that's why I've always liked him best of all. Thank you too for your splendid comments I always appreciate them -they melt away any grey day!

Great pics!

Is grey kitty sitting outside a sliding door in the snow, or is it an illusion?

Ifthethunderdontgetya- she is sitting on snow, but is it inside or outside? That is the elusive question! :)

let's hear it for Eeyore! (I do quite like Tigger too)

Amazing, unique selection as usual, Karen. I love the cute couple in the last pic. And Hawaiian-shirt guy has me itching to get into Photoshop...

Hi Karen,

Coming from Jenny's post on Dorothy,

My daughter acted as the good witch and dressed in a wedding gown. She was the most beautiful and talented person in that production. LOL, according to her mum.

Great set of captures. I love that castle. I have always wanted to live in one.

That last shot is certainly interesting.

Thanks for the visit to my old gray shed.

I'm from El Paso, TX. Grew up around gray/grey.

Now live in FL...traded gray/grey for green.

So glad I did *smile*

How much easy it was to see de plane when I enlarged the picture. Loved the first building and the cheeky end.

Cool shots!

I have always thought that grey was red without the benefit of a public relations adviser.

Great grey series! Loved that first shot best, but all are good and a different take on the theme!

Not a colour to inspire me these days, but you have managed to find inspiration as usual. I'm glad you pointed out the plane, I'd never have spotted it.

I am not sure which one of these pictures is my favorite... I love them all. I am particularly fond of grey and I think it makes for some great shots and background.

I love those first two photos, and I don't see them as grey.
