Welcome to
THE MAG
It appears Tess has brought us something other than a famous painting- and we may do
whatever we desire. No strings or back story attached.
Terribly Enjoyable
This old red chair
Have you ever left a room
full of people
and felt a chair
offered more?
Simply
One old red chair?
One old red chair?
A most ludicrous beauty
immortalized
before my eyes-
this chair
Unwittingly
alone in a room
full of social-less people
Comforting the tired
up righting the weary
This one old red chair
performing duty
implying refuge
were there a mutiny.
If stains could talk on
the old red chair
they'd say simply
Spare the chair-
let go
of some people.
Save what's worth keeping!

You have a way w/words! I definitely agree w/your sentiments!. If a chair could talk.... the history it holds.
sometimes a chair is companionable!

"A most ludicrous beauty" What a great line! I agree that inanimate can call to us like that.
A wise chair, indeed.
You do have a way with words, and photos!
Save what's worth keeping.
That practice is getting easier all the time.
Nice read.
Terribly enjoyable Mag entry. Thank you.
"Spare the chair - let go of some people." Delightful. :-)
maybe the lone chair is taking a break, waiting for the people to come back and continue their restoration work on that room.
it sure does look like a chair that could really tell some wild tales!
.. 'save what's worth keeping' ... great message here in your Mag!!!
Haha... I like that and agree!
I like the repetition of the red chair, and the color, throughout your poem.

Sometimes a chair can offer more...
That first stanza is so awesome. And to answer your question, yes, I have. :)
