I took this photo at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis on Halloween. I'm inside shooting out a window that is framed in a shiny mirror like surface.
Floating by the open window I see you- adrift in the air- I dare you to touch the ground- and take flight- so your bones may rest at sea.
Or not!
Hang up there forever, it doesn't matter to me!
Just beware I can hear them talking now, "Oh my, what was that strange hysterical laugh, coming from behind that window?"
So with hearts pounding they all crawled away from reality and moved closer just to see if...

Fake or real fire?
Fake! A genuine burning candle helped this situation- but many were fooled by believing....
Into thinking this was real!
If not for window glass, how could I hide this fake electric-burning-fire?
Yes, sometimes we put real wood inside and let it burn!
Looking at life's reflection through mirror and glass- looking at both sides of life .....
Funny thing about windows- yesterday our local newspaper- The Star Tribune, featured (artcetera)

Lakewood Cemetery Garden Mausoleum
in Minneapolis, Minnesota a major part of it is across from Lake Calhoun.
Designed by Joan Soranno and John Cook of HGA Architects and Engineers, Minneapolis, this $30 million sky lit building of glass and gray granite nestles into a Minneapolis hillside as well, and overlooks a sunken garden and reflecting pool.
The AIA Minnesota Annual Awards ranged from a warehouse sized space to a decidedly small house.

Cool. That first one took me a while o figure out what was going on and I really love the skeleton. Another nice set.
Love the last shots especially. Windows! I was in a restaurant not long ago that had a window with scenery painted on the wall. It was so real I thought I was looking outside!
I love the reflection from the first window- had me wondering what was what, and which way was up!

I too love the top shot. It's interesting they put a mirror like surface right into the window frame and makes for a very interesting photo.
I've never cared for fake fireplaces, or the gas burning ones, but it's getting pretty chilly here now and even a gas one would suffice! Funny how I can change my mind on something to suit the season! lol
That bent-window effect is really cool!
