THEMATIC PHOTOGRPAHIC
Shortly before sunset in March 2013
Redwing, Minnesota shortly before sunset, two weeks ago, in March 2013.
This evening at 7:40 P.M. at exactly today's sunset.
Two minutes later, I used a different film to shoot this same scene in the photo below.

really pretty soft glows!
I like the one with the boats. :)
wow, just like 20 minutes ago, I posted a sunrise/sunset series taken down in SC on spring break
Unbridled creativity!
Love the watery one - reflections are always lovely.
Sunset has that wonderful ability to make shapes out of scenes.
Wonderful shots! Alas, I always found dawn to be the most beautiful time of the day, but I sure hated being up that early to see it.
Hey, I think I have actually been to Redwing, Minnesota! Well, I seem to recall at least seeing a Redwing Boot plant somewhere up north years ago.
Snow always seems to enhance these scenes.
pretty
Hipstamatic: I love it!

Bob I really liked your TP post too, you really did catch a perfect sunset, but yesterday blogger wouldn't let me comment on your posts. I will try again today!
Isn't it so nice we're finally getting into longer days! I'm loving not being kept in the dark all the time. :-)
Very nice sunsets, now to get them shining on the water and we'll be celebrating summer!
Have a wonderful day Karen.
I just knew I was going to love these photos! Would be neat to know the times on each of the photos, proof the days are getting longer! (That snow will melt soon!)
Sunsets glow beautifully in your white world.
There is a sharp contrast with your blog header :-)
They're all lovely - especially the boats.
I like the Kerouac quote, too - thanks, karen!
These are beautiful Karen, I would use a couple of these to create winter stories.
And, thanks for visiting me. I really appreciate it. :)
I live in an older inner city neighborhood. I love it but with the big trees and the houses close together, I don't get to see the sky vista at sunrise or sunset, or any other time of day for that matter. Beautiful photos.
Thank you! I love Minnesota! I think it is pretty close to Heaven.
