My Centus-
I LIVE IN A BOX OF PAINTS
If a June night could talk
it would speak to me
in lovely hues
of shades that fancy me.
as sunlight pours through me
Every which way
I shall paint my way
through any
outside forces
with toned ground
my heart leading
as it should be.
Gentle earth tones calling me.
Empty chair, in a soft lit mid of day
just before
the sunset kisses
the evening dew
and moonlight pours through me
drawing me to open hearts.
If ever you question
choices in your day
if it comes to people
never paint them away.
softly blend them
into your world each day
before they fade away
in memories gone by.
Thank you for stopping by
and if your heart desires more

Hey, I thought we already had a talk about publishing stuff on the wrong day. It was Wednesday to me, AND NOW IT'S SATURDAY!
This is just so perfect, and so Karen-like. Damn, you're good!!!!
Like the picture of the sun flowers.
Greetings,
Filip
Top post! Just enchanting :-)
Aloha, K
I was catching up on SC links and your title was beckoning me throughout.
I clicked on the links but this title still pulled me.
I saved it for my last read tonight...like a dark chocolate caramel hoarded in my desk drawer from greedy little Grandlittles and husbands seeking out treats.
Wow.
This was better than that!
This was beautiful.
And amazing.
And I'm going to bed with your words in my mind now...
...like a goodnight kiss at the end of a long day...
...or the feel of sheets dried in the sun and breeze.
Seriously.
Karen.
You are really an amazing, amazing writer.
Oops.
I hope my comment was too freakishly intense.
But I meant it.
Jenny- your comment was just beautiful, and very much appreciated too! It's always so much fun to put our own thoughts into life on Saturday Centus!
Not only magnificent writing but touching as well... never paint the people in your life away, I love it!
Have a fantastic weekend Karen!
