Eyes like weapons
bound by guns and gadgets
letters and numbers
his onward game
betwixt mallet-like fists and streetwise smarts
dauntless is he.
The possession of truth as
ever humble as
one may perceive, we
lack all sense of awareness,
in plain sight.
Here, as so often lies
a mystery inside
our belief-
that umbrella man
protects
his instrument inside.
Hoodwinked
are we
bred by
ineptness
deep
from
beneath his trench coat garb.
As his cover invites
our sour belief.
