Thematic Photographic - 281

Emptiness, isn't constant. Thankfully, it's one thing we keep refilling, throughout our lives.

Emptiness, is Carmi's theme this week, and as always, he's calling for our own interpretation.

That empty feeling when nobody hears your bark!

Emptiness, really shows when there's plenty of seating at your favorite neighborhood hangout.

Or, that moment when you fear emptiness will bring those old melancholy blues to your table of one.

He was crushed at being left behind.

Sometimes, emptiness is just a feeling we can't shake....

Strangely enough, there are moments when we welcome emptiness.

Can you please stop singing, and eat your dinner?

I'm with your request to old man winter as it's snowing here for the first time this winter. I'm also with the dog, possibly confused because the snow muffles its bark.

Karen, we are at 50 degrees F right now, and it feels wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!! time to get out the short and T-shirts for a stroll in the park.....well, that may be a little premature, but...

Nice pics, Karen!

I was trying to think of what to do with this theme in our frozen, dirty-old-snowscape, and I thought of taking pictures of the clear blue sky. (-4 degrees this morning, with that nice blue sky :-P )

Lovely, lovely shots! It's 26 Celsius here today - around 79F I think...

You always find new and creative ways to take a theme places I could have never imagined. You're a brilliant storyteller, Karen.
