He's asked us to spend the week sharing logos! Any logo whatsoever, worldwide or from our own town. It's your call!
How many logos do you recognize?
Need a closer look? This is one commercial that always entertains!
"It's my charmingly cute looks, and cheery accent that grabs your attention I know!" They market him as, a gold dust day gecko with a cockney accent, voiced by Jake Wood. Thank you Jake for keeping it real!
How many could you guess?
Our theme logo will be a forever act in the world of advertising and our brain wave growth. Logos are a symbol, design or object used to identify products. Commercial enterprises have been setting a place within our memory banks for ages.
The Morton Salt girl began in 1911. She was a younger version of herself and it appears she stopped aging in 1968. Pass the salt please?

I recognize them all!
P.S. Here's a real live gecko trying out for the spokeslizard jerb, Karen.

Thunder, he is just adorable! I love them all!
laughing at your salt comment! :)
Lets see. 1. I don't know. 2. Starbucks. 3 & 4. Geico Insurance. 5. Chevy Impala 6. Target? 7. Microsoft. 8. Morton Salt. Correct?
Right on Max. You are good! Even though being the car man that you are I'd figure you'd get it! But it's not commonplace like the Chevy or other auto companies. I'll keep # 1 a secret until someone gets it, but I'll give you a clue. The name sounds like one of the others posted here!
Tex- if only we could all age like her! Or maybe not!
I knew Morton Salt and Geico! That was it.
I remember as a child, wondering about the slogan, "When it rains, it pours."
As an adult, I now understand the problem. For one thing, there is an ambiguous antecedant to the pronoun "it." You see the first "it" doesn't refer to the same thing as the second "it" does; hence, the sentence is actually confusing. The second problem, however, is that I had been raised in a desert and had no concept whatsoever of salt clumping up due to high humidity; it was something I had never experienced and did not know existed. :)
Having lived my fist 14 years in the Boston area, I understood the "When it rains, it pour." What I didn't understand, at first, is why people in Utah didn't put rice in the bottom of their salt shakers.
Animals are popular and you see these symbols everywhere. Funny,
Greetings,
Filip
Fun and excellent tutorial to recognize what we take for granted!

Good idea with the rice Max!
It's funny I almost didn't use it because I don't care for that phrase at all! I tried to block most of it out of the picture! Even though most of us automatically think about anyway.
Those are great photos of logos - far better than mine!! (but it was a murky day) I didn't know some of them, as they are North American, but I recognised Windows!! ;)
I have to say, what a fabulous house. The kind I would love to live in! And the railings indeed beautiful.
I don't recognise most of the logos because mostly the products aren't common here in the UK.
What does the little lizardy thing represent?
I only knew 4 of them. I guess the others are North America. A gecko with a cockney accent is one that I have not heard.
He's the mascot for auto insurance! You don't know the last one?
Thanks for the link! I knew you'd get them all!
Animals always get my attention even more than people, on commercials!
I know all from this side of the pond! I enjoyed yours as well and even a gloomy day in your world beats out our winter days still holding on!
I was thinking of heading over to a British Cafe and Bar we have here and grab some of their logos but I haven't had a chance yet!
