Early morning thoughts today,
from where Gnomes roam.
Please meet my treasured earthly groundskeeper, Mr. Gnome. He may be wearing a smile this morning, but he's carrying a heavy burden. His friends are wilting or worse, drastically drying up around him.
Of course, this bit of news just in from his friends on the west side of my house. Jack Frost is still sleeping across our yard as this is being announced. See, life is so much brighter on the east side in the morning hours.
Proof - sometimes, somebody else is struggling even more.

My morning perspective? Beware the hungry wretched bite of Jack Frost. Get plenty of sunlight, and for all those friends you bring inside, study daylighting now.

You wrote such a sweet post here! I can't even think of Jack Frost, it is so hot here, and I just read the forecast, it is getting even hotter over the weekend. I am so ready for cooler temperatures. And rain. My flowers would love that!
I love your little gnome. I have one that a friend gave me but he's an inside gnome. All his cousins that were given to other friends have long disintegrated so I guess they weren't meant for bad weather, and I am so glad I kept mine inside because he's luverley :)

Mr Gnome is a cute guy, indeed! Most my flowers are wilted and gone - I don't mind, though, I like winter,too.

hey...i'm late...but finally checking in. You knew I would like this post, didn't you. I really need to add gnomes to my yard. I have a burro, a bunny, turtle, and pagoda. Off to the nursery to spend some money.
