What you see can be misleading. Why you ask? Even though winter has arrived where I live, that doesn't mean I'll flaunt it. My belief is that winter and Christmas magic should never arrive before Thanksgiving. Ever!
I shot the following fence photos in the hopes to hide any snow that surrounded them. Except the last photo, which is precisely what my wintry world looks like!
Note: Any and all, itsy bitsy white or glittery substance you may think you see, is simply, fairy dust!
Seriously, this next photo is how it should appear around here this time of the year.
But Mother Nature played a trick on Minnesotans this year and treated us to this instead.
Not that there isn't beauty in this freshly fallen white-stuff, it's just that it's likely to be here until spring of next year. That's just too long a time to be sporting winter photos!

Yes snow does look lovely in shots although I think for some people that have had nearly 6 feet, it s TOO much, too early! Love the reflection in the 2nd to last shot.
what a beautiful variety of fences....and you have snow!!! I am a tad jealous but I don't want to live in Minnesota...so i'll wait. our turn is coming!!!
Snow is so pretty...until you get sick of it!

i like your perspective - if you don't see it, it's not there, right? :)
Tex- Exactly!
Great fence shots Karen. Snow is pretty in photos but not so much when you have to dig out. We haven't had any yet. After seeing all the photos from the northern States, goodness!
I myself do like snow and on fences or scenery is appealing even if it is early.
Kilroy mumbles, "Oh, the theme. The theme."
such a nice fence entry. Sure hope you are staying warm and enjoy the snow from afar.
Keep warm and creative, K!

Ah, snow, cleverly concealed. I like it.
Nice selection of fences and I do agree it was way to early for the white stuff. - Happily after our "icy" start today it's warmed up past freezing and is actually melting the snow.
Wonderful fences! I love the third one especially!
Wonderful fences!
Hi, Dearest Karen; Great collection of gate♡♡♡ I've heard about the early snow through TV news. Yes, I think you can enjoy this unexpected gift from nature, my friend.

No, I have lived in Minnesota, and I know that the trick is when green grass can actually be seen!
