"Snowflakes are one of life's most fragile things, but look what they can do when they stick together."
Snowstorm by Maurice de Vlaminck
SNOW WHAT
Blow, blow, Ye Olde Nordeast wind
winter's laughing breath
comes a blowing-
once again
Trees rejoice
swinging in the breeze
dance, dance, dance-
You treetop comedienne
Snowflakes fall from heaven
cranking up ye olde merry tunes of joy
swallow your eggnog-
hang ten
You've got this wild winter wave
Joyfulness becomes you
share your Figgy Pudding
tune out ye olde weathermen
You don't like the weather
wear rose colored glasses
bury your nose in roses-
dance again
Let your eyes twinkle
with mirth
feel your hearts be filled with joy
scream Amen, dance again
Bow your hats to Mother Nature
try living up
to her doyenne way of joy
and dance, dance, dance again!

Kilroy says, "I Snowdin all about that."
I enjoyed the olde fashioned feel to this.
This is an encouragement to someone who's trying to remember why it is we keep living in NW Wisconsin year after year. LOL
It can be fun to dance in the snow..
I like the thought of hanging ten.
That painting is so surreal. Love it. Hope the winter ahead isn't too terribly cold!
Love the attitude (and the juxtaposition of classical and contemporary language, too)!
To me it seems like a happy winter girl just jumping here and there:)
It was so warm yesterday, I couldn't believe it. But we may have a big snowstorm right before I have to drive to my sister's house for Thanksgiving...
