Don't laugh, he's entitled to his own choice in shopping attire, right?!
I took this photo on vacation as a youngster with my very own first camera!
And so my love of shooting began!
For fun (on an incredibly Brr! day) I woke up Google with "Good fences Minnesota" and was happily surprised at the number of my own photos popping up.
Wow. So many too. I really do enjoy playing along with Theresa's "Good Fences" !
During our frigid drop in temperatures, as if -15 below with -25 below wind chills on Monday wasn't bad enough, Mother Nature it harder, so much that they closed schools today. So hunting for new fences is out of the question.
Here are a few of my own "good fences" taken off Google.
Those were the days my friend.....
we thought they'd never end- and then it changed to, winter is coming to town!
I long for a stroll around here soon.
How about a view you don't often see, taken from behind Stonehenge. Wiltshire, England.
Can you see the fence? The lovely rock formation before you is called the "Heel stone" and Friar's Heel" or "Sun-Stone" with lots of folklore surrounding it.
Thanks for strolling along with me again this week. I really hope you weren't hoping for snow from me this week. I'm lost in dreams of yesterday, and warmth.

Wonderful series of fence images, Karen! I with you, trying to forget about the cold and snow outside.. Think Warm! Have a happy day!
that was a warmer trip than i expected from you today. :) love the first shot. too cute!
Those temperatures ARE frigid - brr. I love the top photo in BW - from the sign and the parked cars I guess this was taken in Europe, perhaps even in Germany? You don't see that many 2CVs and Renault 4s around anymore.
Like Carola I think the first one is from Germany. It even has an old beetle in it :)
Love the guy in short trunks, don't need fences anymore ;) :D
A big warm hug from

Carola, you are absolutely right. My family and I just left visiting my uncle's grave and seeing this delightful sight at my age was really nice. Cemeteries were scary to me back then.
No snow needed with nice fences.
I smiled when I saw the first photo! Funny one!
It would really take a brave, hot nature d person to shop like that fellow now.

That is a great photo for a youngster! We have 5 degrees in Alabama, but I'm thankful to be here and not there.
I even got a bit of chill walking the pups at 11:00 AM. Breezy too. Could have used a jacket.
No, there are plenty of other blogs have snow. I did love the walk around with you and the shots you showed us. Great fences.
i love to google just about anything, i just popped out to see what came up on mine and there they are... i like all your fences and i would not be outside in all that cold. love the man in the bathing suit and i did not get a camera until about 1975 and it was horrible, one of the instant things that shot out photos that populated and then faded to nothing in a few short years and 7 photos cost a bundle... but in 2002 i went digital and whoo boy,
Don't laugh? I about busted a gut! And it was more interesting to know it was a childhood photo of yours.
Wow I love that you have a photograph that you took as a kid. He certainly does have unusual shopping attire (or lack there of) no wonder you took his picture.
Brrrr...it is way to cold where you are at. We are in the 30's here this week so now I feel warm.
A great selection of past fences and yes I also look forward to sunshine.
Nice tour. Thanks for sharing.
A great series of fence photos Karen, enjoyed very much, thank you :)
Fun photos, no snow necessary!!
You may keep those low temperatures over there Karen. It's ironic that yu show us photos of parts of the UK that I have never visited. The fence/gate in front of the lake is the one that stands out for me,
I just heard what sounded like the rumble of thunder toward the east. Is it spring already?
