Welcome Wee Little Kitty, twice!

2015 has brought two new additions to our family!
My daughter's hubby, and my youngest son both surprised their significant other and children with a kitty.

Sleeping beauty, or as Lyra has so named this precious kitten, Sparkle Diamond! Because all Diamonds sparkle?  Nope.  Lyra was spending the rest of her Christmas break with me while her daddy secretly brought home their new kitty.  Lyra first learned about her new kitty by Face Time and then this photo, in which she immediately said, "I want to call her Sparkle."
But after seeing Sparkle face to face, I think the diamond shape on her little forehead made all the difference.

"It's impossible to keep a straight face in the presence of one or more kittens."
Cynthia E. Varnado

Especially with all their funny sleeping positions as well!
Welcome home Oliver.

But as we see below-

Jasmine the first family kitty cat, has her doubts about this entire situation.  She's still not quite over "The Dog" Rusty, moving in!

They sure are. The more pitter-patter of little feet the better and happier a home is!

So cute!! Sparkle's a gorgeous name. I wonder if she'll turn into a Sparky?

When it was just me, I had a cat and she was a treat. She died when my daughter was 2 and soon thereafter the neutralizer breathing treatments stopped (she was allergic to cats)

Absolutely adorable! I love the name Sparkle! And Oliver reminds me a bit of the marmelade Gypsy -- how I miss my boy.
