I've always enjoyed the challenge of puzzles, the trickier the better, they offer the greatest triumph over all other box games. Except, of course, for Scrabble!
There hasn't been a puzzle that I couldn't solve, usually in record time. Recently, I thought I'd finally uncovered a puzzle challenge in which I couldn't solve. But, I solved it.
I purchased this 1000 piece puzzle of a painting of downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota by local artist, Michael Birawer.
Here's his twist on creating puzzles. The puzzle picture on the box is more than a bit different from the puzzle in the box! Our mission is, to solve it of course.

So many mysteries, at the touch of another piece.
A bit like life, don't you think.
Indeed, not the same old jigsaw puzzle by any means.
They swear on the box, one you've been twisted, you'll never go back.

i love a great picture puzzle! and that one seems more difficult, for sure. :)
That does look like a hard puzzle and a challenge. I like the twisted view of St Paul. Enjoy your day!

Den's mom used to say that until I found a puzzle that was nothing but pretzels and mugs of beer. She still put that one together and gave it back to me!
The most challenging jigsaw I was ever given defeated me. Two sided. The same picture on the front as the back - rotated ninety degrees.
That one did my head in.
The brother that gave it to me also gave me one with five extra pieces...

What a great puzzle! It's been awhile since I've done one -- hard to find a big enough spot to leave one up for long enough! Maybe this summer!
