Relish, The Mag -

"That which the fountain sends forth returns again to the fountain."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Into Every Life
an empty
Fountain
Lurks.
(refill)

"Even his shadow was more jubilant, than my own physical self, on this day.  In the superhighways of one's life, exits overrule straightaways.  Trust me on this." - K. M. Sather

Photography 101

Truly he's
a photographer's nightmare.
This willy-nilly subject
won't sit still.

Curvature of field.

Infectiously charming
I cannot keep my wits
with every shot
about me, he's
Proper exposure.

He dances at will-
wielding his savagely, clever bits-
all very persuading
I shall focus
until diaphragm closes.

 I'll beat his breezy nature-
low-battery flashes
But I'm recharged, wrap up this
 afternoon of shooting,
all good snaps.

Shutting off my vigilance, replay his mindfulness.

This shoot befits a trip
into the human soul
like flying
 to the moon
and back.

Guys like this can seem so raw but be so charming. I want to hear about what happened afterwards.

Fun write. I loved how "low battery flashes" is written in red. Clever. :-)
