Meet Booker, named because in the beginning of his days at Wild Rumpus Book Store, he was always trying to escape to the wild, outdoors!
Next is Iggy Peck one of two Japanese Silkie Chickens living at the book store.
Isn't she pretty?

I love the 'little people' critters.
great little critters and I love the A.A. Milne quote-and am inclined to agree with him.
Cute critters for sure...love the kitty! Not sure I would want chickens in the library though. LOL
Great bookstore critters, though I am amazed over the silkie chicken! :-) Sweet kids also!
Iggy Peck the Japanese chicken is fun to look at.
Now you see this is my kind of bookstore.. fabulous! I wasn't quite sure which end was which re the chicken, amazing :) Fun series of Sunday shots Karen.
That's the cutest chicken I've ever seen! I think I would love that bookstore. What a treat for the kids --critters and books!
Booker reminds me so much of The Marmelade Gypsy that my heart stopped for a minute when I saw the photo. Perhaps he is living out his next life in a bookstore. I think he'd like that very much.
that bird cracks me up
I don't think I've ever seen a Japanese Silkie Chicken before. So cute! I want to hug Booker. ;)
Booker is awesome. Love the origin of his name.
