One simple life
Such a hypothetical
simplicity
how one's mind
stages bits and pieces
of worrisome scenarios
so stark and unrelinquishing.
What if?
one could unlock
those treacherous
tedious hours locked
in dripping sorrow
as if no hope to borrow
a new tomorrow
would ever exist
plays over and over
in their mind.
What if-
our avenues lurking
lost within the shadows
of circumstances
intently toying upon
over and over
our emotions-
What if?
perhaps just a cup of tea
offering between friends
such an element
of complexity
in human nature
be it ever so humble to
disturb sorrow
kissing
one's will, one's life
to lighten one's load
by joining
the laws of attraction.
Burn those lingering
sorrow
filled hours.
There's
always

Powerful and beautiful. Too many rainbows are barely enough.
Hard to say. In retrospect, it's always easy to say something like that would have made a difference. But hard to tell in the midst of mental angst like they must have been.
