Good morning
Isn't this a captivating photo?
Bridges invite us from one place to another, if we cross them.
Bridges invite us from one place to another, if we cross them.
"With stones, you can build walls to separate people, or build bridges to unite them. Do the second thing in the name of ethics and honour, for the glory of love and goodness." Mehmet Murat ildan
Bridges, or simply bridging brings unity to everything, don't you think?
I have noticed-
"Children are so used to seeing puppets
that when they see a real ventriloquist
they don't understand it."
Paul Winchell
Without a doubt the ventriloquist
bridges the gap between us.

On bridging our hands to mind-
"There is a lovable quality about the actual tools. One feels so kindly to the thing that enables the hand to obey the mind. Moreover, one feels a good deal of respect for it; without it the brain and the hand would be helpless."

Con esta mezcla de puentes y títeres, te ha quedado una entrada muy bonita.

Yes, the stone bridge is a winner, but you’ve given us some very thoughtful words once more as well.
Really great photos. Bridges are indeed important in everyday life. I hope one day we humans can overcome our differences and live in peace. Have a great week.
You reminded me that there is also a particular thrill from going under bridges - and you brought to mind memories of bridges in Lisbon and Panama. And what a fine collection of images you give us - as always.
Love the opening shot of the Menai Bridge. Thoroughly enjoyed your thoughtful and beautifully composed take on bridging, together with ALL of the super images.
So agree with the laughter quote :) Super series of monochromes, totally love the last vintage shot Karen.
I like your choice of quotes, and they way they bridged the gap between images. I used to have a book of famous quotations where I highlighted the ones that were particularly meaningful. I probably should do that for great photos too.
