GATHERING PLACES AND WHAT WE DO FOR HALLOWEEN
Dressing-up and stepping into the character of being someone other than yourself, is just one reason I treasure Halloween!
These days, parents are hooking up trailers for their little ghosts and goblins and adults to enjoy!
Halloween has always been one of my most favorite of celebrations.
But not in the spooky, dark side of ghoulish pranks.

It's a magical time to express our inner sides of life!

and cheerful carefree Spygirl with her kitty-side-kick.
Above my daughter and her Spygirl (portraying a monster) five years earlier and below, this year!
Gone again is another Halloween filled with
delicious carved pumpkins and unexpected surprises designed to please.
Another evening event of dressing up in costume while
trick-or-treating from door to door in a mildly scary, but buoyantly sort of way.
Eek! That's a gigantic spider!
Halloween decorating has really evolved since my childhood days of knocking door to door. Even as a little girl seeing all the Halloween displays and the glow from inside their houses was most delightful for me!
Halloween has never been all about scary and candy,
but rather friends and family across the neighborhoods coming together
in joyous fun, sprinkled with a few silly pranks.
A wee bit scary Jackson!
Alien forces beware of human Halloweeny entities scurrying about.
"I think if human beings had genuine courage, they'd wear their Halloween costumes everyday of the year, not just on Halloween. Wouldn't life be more interesting that way? And now that I think about it, why the heck don't they? Who made the rule that everybody had to dress like sheep 364 days of the year? Think of all the people you'd meet if they were in costume every day. People would be so much easier to talk to - like talking to dogs."
