Have you ever wondered what the fox tail epidemic is all about?
I have.
At the Minnesota Renaissance Faire they seem to be everywhere you go.
On animals, critters, Fairies but also humans and Pirates!
Excellent answer here.

What do you think you'd get if you crossed
a chicken with an eagle?
Maybe this?
Or maybe not!

BUT-Seriously, crossing a chicken with an eagle isn't such a silly thing. There actually is a youtube video about it.

Hello, wonderful critter post. I love all the chickens and the eagles. Cute shot of the grandkids, the festival looks like a fun time. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critters. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
"Cheerfully carefree" ~ nice motto. Great adventure, Karen!
fox tails? hmmm...
I've made three or four mistakes, maybe.
Fox tails were a bit of a craze here quite a few years back.
Love your great sense of humor too!
looks like fun!! i have not seen fox tails around here??? nice capture of the eagle!!!
I love small town fairs and festivals. I just missed our Fall Fair at the farmer's market because we were out of town. So sad. - Margy
Looks like everyone had a blast!
(Except maybe the chickens?)

What a fascinating reason for wearing fox tails. I doubt it worked though. Fleas would have preferred warm smelly skin to cold smelly fur.
This really is a fun post...makes us all wish we had been there! Happy weekend!
Never heard of the fox tail thing.
You are in good company with Sophia!
you have my vote, karen!
It would have been very interesting for that girl with the tail to make it look like it was part of her own hair.
Super shot of the majestic eagle Karen, not so much the crossbreed between chicken and eagle! Hope you're having a fun weekend 😊
Enjoyed this post so much! Humor is such a gift from God. It brightens our day, makes our relationships better, and is such good medicine. Just watch anything with Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Sid Caesar, Lucielle Ball, Carol Burnett, or any other goofball from the 1960s and 70s. Silly silly fun. :-)
