Disposable
for our theme this week.
Disposable things make bringing your lunch
quite delicious.
Easy come, easy go.
Married one day
and carried away
the next.
Or are these lovely bride and groom
scarecrows
still holding hands in Alabama?
I'll soon find out.

Disposable items for a picnic are incredibly helpful, right?
Meet my disposable greenhouse #1
It's been replaced.
With a much bigger one, complete with windows too.
Moving on to
Rustic birdhouse on a fence post!
We took a stroll along an avenue in Linden Hills,
and this particular place is one I dreamed of owning years ago.
I just worked a block away from here,
and I imagined how sweet the walk would be.
The recent owners really made some changes
and the house doesn't look anything like it used to.
But their wood carvings are a beautiful touch.
There used to be a white picket fence too.
Funny how some houses will speak to you.

Love that Rae Smith quote. And need to remember it. Some days I feel imminently disposable/dispensible.
Thank you.
i love their sweet fence and touches.
Too many things are seen as disposable. Hopefully we can learn to cherish once again.
Hello, always nice to see your cute grands. The fence and carvings are great. I love the Rae Smith Quote.
Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
I enjoyed the stroll along the pretty fence!
Some thought provoking quotes as ever, Karen.
I think we shall have to give a disposable greenhouse a go.
Rustic carvings set off the fens very well.
i would love to have a greenhouse, do you grow much over winter?? i would really enjoy having homegrown produce year round!!!
i like a decorated fence!!!
Those are some weird scare crows. Reminds me of that movie Lars and the Real Girl.
That is a fence with character, Karen! I have houses that speak to me when I go by too.
Easy come easy goes does seem to be today's mantra Karen, such a shame because things made years ago were made to last!
Wooden birds on the fence are a very nice touch.

Thanks for sharing Karen
All picnic things should be disposable - food into tummies, gear into recycling!
That was a charming little fence with the birdhouse and little bird figures.
I'm glad humans aren't "disposable."
