Open Minds and Neil Gaiman

Greetings from the frozen tundra of
Minnesota's Winter-Wonderland

Things are as you make them.

Open seating.

But
your thoughts
are everything.

"As the twig is bent, the trees inclined."
So grows the tree.
Alexander Pope

Remembering a time
while standing still
face to face
with the breeze
and my face warmed by sunshine
on an afternoon walk in June.

While Thoughts of bare feet making my way
through green grasses
 simply dance through my head.

Keeping these thoughts alive.

It's the only way to stay sane on freezing,
not-so-perfect day.

"Life is but thought."

How about waking up to accomplishing your fears?

Anyone care to spend the night in a haunted house?

"Life is really simple,
but we insist on making it complicated."

"I make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes."

Sara Teasdale

Not to forget what day this is!

Hello there,

Well, are you going to hug me or not?

Animals have taught me much.

Bring your best rabbit's foot forward.

Be silly.

They are, our best friends, for life.

In closing this morning, may I mention New Year's Resolutions?
Not many have here in Bloggersville
but outside of blogging, many are.

I believe, this quote from Neil Gaiman, says it best.

"There was a smile dancing on his lips,
although it was a wary smile,
for the world is a bigger place
than a little graveyard on a hill;
and there would be dangers in it and mysteries,
new friends to make,
old friends to rediscover,
mistakes to be made,
and many paths to be walked, before he would, finally,
return to the graveyard or ride with the Lady
on the broad back of her great grey stallion."

Thank you dear ones for stopping by.
Take good care of you.

Neil Gaiman is one of my heroes. He so often speaks to and for me (much better than I can do it myself). And of course I love your cat.
