It was a day for looking out the window!
Carmi wants scenes performing
outside your windows
outside your windows
so grab your camera and begin shooting
Out the Window!
I'm excited to see out your windows too,
so I hope many of
you join this thematic photographic delight at Carmi's blog here.

Window number one!

Believe it or not, I just shoveled our deck and the snow is still falling!
How about some color?
Here are a few out the window from Minneapolis.
I'm driving to downtown.
(Before winter)
The next two are from my oldie but goodie files
for my work in progress with ghost stories from Minnesota!
"People are trapped in history and history is trapped in people."
James A. Baldwin
Ghost writers can set them free.
"Nothing in life is to be feared.
It is only to be understood."
Marie Curie

to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it."
Edith Wharton
So don't fear shadows,
because there's light shining from somewhere.

I like that theme!
What a delightful theme - and photos.
kilroy is a silhouette.
Oh, are you writing a Minnesota ghost story book? Count me in to review it! The only kind of ghost stories I read are the classic, local folklore kind. Minnesota is near and dear to our hearts, second only to the UP of Michigan. Hugs.
P.S. I loved this post. You capture things well in image and word. Thank you, my friend.
Great
Greats photos! I see your elf is still around, our Mr. Elf disappeared the night of December 25th. I guess we will see him again next December!
Applause! Bravo!
Hello, what a neat theme. Great series out the window. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
you have some beautiful views out your doors and windows!! all our snow - gone. it's 50 degrees outside now and we had a lot of rain!!!
Karen, wonderful window photos, especially the elf in the first one. Thanks for sharing.
Super post Karen, I think I like your touch of colour best, so pretty!
Living out west, in my youth up to raising my OWN family, I don't wanna see any more snow out my window. Ever. LOL
Love the colorful girl day out. And did you say ghost stories? Oh.......I'm anxious to see what this is about. Sounds awesome.
I like pictures of the windows in the ruins. Enjoy your snow!
These are excellent pictures!
Great collection, Karen with two brilliant 'oldies'.
Your snowy out-the-window is much like my own, but I confess to being entranced by your ghostly window views.
