The Art of Living and Critters

Autumn this year has pretty much put an end
to fireflies dancing across the yard.

Walk with the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful,
the planners, the doers, the successful people
with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground.

and strangers coming to your window just to say hello friend!
Red Rock Canyon, I miss you!

Let their spirit ignite a fire within you
to leave this world better than when you found it.
Wilferd Peterson

Cow in your face! While having lunch at the Red Cow.
Greetings from my shadow, can you see it?

This is how I like seeing deer!
Not on the top of cars coming back from up-north, even if I have some family members that went hunting!

Peace is being thankful.

Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.  Rumi

Just in case you didn't notice today is
SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

A purr-fectly pawsome kind of morning!

There is, or rather was a critter in this photo when I took this photo.

Friends gather around.

Read, read, and read some more!
It was Character Day at her school.

I am ever thankful for our veterans.

Around these parts in Minnesota it's been more like winter than autumn, but we're going to be in the 50's by Tuesday and that is wonderful!

Because we know what the future holds for us.

What's coming soon.

Thanks for stopping in and sharing your time with me.
Take good care of you.

Hello, Karen,

I love seeing all your wonderful critters. I prefer seeing them wild and free too.
Your granddaughter looks pretty. Love the ducks and the pretty sculpture. Weather in 50's is good, it was 35° this morning in North Carolina. I could take weather in the 50's all winter.
Thanks so much for linking up your post today. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.

God Bless all our war heroes, veterans and military.

Thank You Karen for the caring, joy, and healing you always bring us!
So here in the Bay Area, I may see freeze WARNINGS, but we have palm trees and no snow. My question is this: in Hawaii we always gloated about WINTER. Can I still qualify to do that - even though I own some jackets now? Signed, Grateful and just wondering in Marin

Loving your critters. And your attitude.

Deer are much too lovely to be hood ornaments. Slow down this fall. :-)

I love the look of that horse at Red Rock Canyon. Yep, winter is coming but that don’t mean much here. I was still in shorts today and most everyone felt I was crazy but the temperature reached to 60

Oh I've missed your wonderful outlook on life Karen ☺ I feel a wee bit envious of your incoming cooler weather as we head into summer, I would looooove to look out my window in the morning to see a snow covered scenario. Sweet little pussy cat and tres impressive antlers on the dear deer visitor ☺

Love the nature photos!

And then... RUMI. Oh, sweet...love his wordability. (I think I invented that word just now!)

The colorful sculpture guys look like they are fighting, but their hearts aren’t really in it.

And...the turquoise skirt is FABULOUS.
